Jan McKay
With more than twenty years with nonprofit cultural organizations, Jan McKay has walked many museum halls in various (comfortable) shoes. Her passion for informal learning environments comes from recognizing the connections they make in the world as they inform, serve and enhance life for visitors and communities.
Dr. Jan McLean
Dr. Jan McLean has been an educator and administrator for more than 33 years at museums across the country. Dr. McLean is known for generously sharing her expertise in strategic planning and educational programming, curatorial planning and collections care, exhibit and gallery development, fund raising and capital projects and planetarium programs. In addition to developing collaborative programs among museums from Cleveland to San Diego, she served on a team to evaluate the educational services of the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.
Dr. John Fleming
Dr. John Fleming, known throughout the country for his scholarship, mentorship and generosity, has a career spanning four decades of excellence.
As a historian, author, academician and museum expert, John Fleming’s professional experience includes museum directorships, management and planning on historic preservation issues, appointments by governors and President George W. Bush., and leadership roles in national and state museum associations.

Varin Acevedo, an award winning Exhibit Designer based in San Diego, California, offers extensive design and exhibit experience in the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Robin Reed
Robin Reed is the former Director of Public History for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and served as the senior director responsible for the day and evening programming in the Historic Area. In his role as chief interpreter, his department included the Actor/Interpreter unit, Costume Design Center, Evening Programs, Historic Area Communications, Historic Events unit (Fifes & Drums Corps, Military Programs, and Special Events), Performing Arts and Public History Development.
David Imbrogno
David A. Imbrogno’s career has focused on conceiving, developing and implementing institutional growth and change for a wide variety of organizations. In his long career in parks, natural areas, outdoor education, and museums, he has led strategic transformation in small nature centers, a large museum complex, a governmental metro park system and, a 14,000 acre natural area, arboretum and research facility.
Tom Marshall
Tom Marshall is an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist with 35 years experience in television/radio news and programming, including nine years in Media Relations/Marketing with the State of California. He was selected from a field of nearly two thousand candidates as the 2001 State of California Public Information Officer of the Year.
Jack Gallagher
As a media and public relations expert, as well as a working journalist and documentarian, Jack has worked with top professionals in the fields of the arts, history, politics, medicine, law, business, health and beauty. For more than 30 years he has helped clients harness the power of media, including all varieties of television, radio and print news. He has also created programs for PBS, ESPN, USA and the Travel Channel.

Mike Wood

Karin Schnell
Say Southern California and the Arts and Karin Schnell’s name is bound to come up. Karin has been involved in arts and arts education in a variety of capacities over the past 24 years, sharing her skills across Orange County and up and down the Coast.
Upon completion of her masters degree in Exhibition Design and Museum Studies, from California State University, Fullerton, Karin began her museum profession as Curator of Education at the Newport Harbor Art Museum (currently the Orange County Museum of Art) formulating the educational programming, interpretative materials, museum/school programs, and docent training methods. Karin is known for her experience in strategic planning for exhibits and for her innovative techniques in strengthening volunteer and docent programs through creative training and education.
